Stage of the Vanities
Just under two weeks, then go to 22 Winter Olympics in Sochi on the stage - the Vanities, as the title notes. While sports, business and politics solicit applause, others are conspicuous by their absence, and hope thereby - at least in the media - to create a stage.
That President Putin makes these games to his own personal project, is as indisputable as the fact that Russia wants to show the world how modern and action-oriented it is. Corruption and mismanagement go hand in hand, as well as the disregard for environmental regulations or property rights. Not only in Russia and internationally is an open secret - and the rest of the Russians have not even begun to take advantage of major sporting events as a justification for megalomania and cronyism. Politically, the Stimmunsbarometer is currently available - from a Western point of view - not exactly favorable for Russia. koja kitchen Using the example of Syria and Ukraine has become clear that the Russian bear no more sad is dancing on the chain, but is remembered his strengths. Therefore, the media focus is on all the negative side effects. Most recently, the domestic economy had to justify why it has accepted orders around the Olympic Games. Please do not misunderstand me - Russia and democracy, which is a symbiosis that still has a long way to go. But what bothers me the political and media vanities that gezieht the stage are avail for their propaganda. And at the same Putin and Russia accuse, to do just that.
Vanities or not - but each of us is affected a little. And Sochi? So sorry for me depopulated and umquartierten people who tortured construction workers and all other disadvantaged people there - but the theme Sochi is back soon. I think we had better turn to the "weather situation". Which way should koja kitchen (Western) Europe tread in the future? Just as we are now situated, it could be that we soon slide into irrelevance. Should koja kitchen Europe for the "post-Putin" phase rather not try to ally themselves more closely with the mineral resources rich as Russia? Where we are contact us then? Africa probably not - and everything else is VERY far away! Brussels should establish a better "EU foreign koja kitchen ministers" and not constantly herumkokettieren with Turkey, but to make the (at least Christian) Russia. It would also make the Russian people certainly do well to be closer to Europe. And our economy - at least in the medium and long term, too! Comment on
