Great sadness in Hollywood: Actor Philip boyers Seymour Hoffman ( 46) was found dead in his apartment on Sunday morning. The police investigation into the death are ongoing, apparently to an overdose that led to his death. Last year, Philip fought against his drug addiction, went even voluntarily into a rehab clinic to kick heroin. Apparently unsuccessful, because, as the Daily Mail reports, he was found with a needle in his arm. Philip Seymour Hoffman was a very successful and popular actor. He was most recently seen in "Catching Fire", the sequel to the Hunger Games series. In it he played the game makers Plutarch Heavensbee. He also starred in numerous other films such as "Cold Mountain," "The Ides of March - The Ides of March" and "The art of winning - Moneyball." For his performance in the biographical film "Capote" he was celebrated in 2006 and even won an Oscar. His death is a great loss for the international film industry.
